The challenge was to design a new residential development that has the highest privacy and security, while still providing a spectacular view in the International Golf Club, located in the Gaoxin District of Chengdu.
To form the island for the development, our team connected water from the existing lake to the internal manmade lake. Lush hedgerows separate this property from other villas and custom homes. The inspiration for the Estate's character is derived from French Chateau architecture. Lake-stream water wanders through the village, offering lakefront views for the residents. Themed, gated entries provide security and grand transition from public roads to these exclusive, high-end homes. The Chateau is surrounded by waterways and has its own private lakeview, as well as fantastic views out to the 18-hole golf course. The design team positioned the Chateau on the island in three levels to offer water and golf course views throughout the development. This unique Chateau includes luxury amenities such as an indoor pool, steam/sauna/spa rooms, wine cellar, home theater, conservatories, and grand terraces.
